Reba Celebrates 34th #1

Reba McEntire celebrated the biggest hit single of her career with a party in Nashville. "Consider Me Gone" held the Number One spot for four weeks late last year, giving Reba the 34th Number One of her career in as many years.

Reba says "It's really hard to put it in words how much it means to me for me to be able to have a career chart-topping song after bein' in the business for 34 years. It's pretty overwhelming."

Reba also thanked her team of supporters for the victory. "I give total credit to the songwriters and to radio and to the fans. I'm doin' the same thing I've always done. I get up and I sing and I have a great time and thank the Lord for a great job, so it's timing, it's bein' with the right people. We're all really thrilled. It's just hard work, dedication, great ideas of things to do to get the music out and I am just ecstatic!"

Reba's new single, "I'll Keep On Loving You," is making its climb up the charts.

Reba is currently on tour with George Strait.

"Consider Me Gone" is the longest-running Number One hit for a female country artist since Taylor Swift's "Our Song" logged a multi-week stint at the top of the charts in 2007.

Reba's very first chart-topping single, "Can't Even Get the Blues" claimed the top of the charts in January of 1983.
