Carrie Underwood March 24th

Y101 Presents Carrie Underwood in concert with special guests Craig Morgan & Sons of Sylvia March 24th at Scotiabank Place.

Carrie Underwood quickly shot to fame and, subsequently, fortune, winning countless awards, charting hit after hit and selling millions of albums. So does she feel entitled? No way, says the singer. In fact, she often feels guilty for her success. She told Allure magazine, "I think if anybody in my position felt like they deserved it, there'd be something wrong with them, because going through Idol, just that process, going to Hollywood and seeing all those people, there were beautiful women who were talented, and for some reason or another, they didn't make it and I did. I'm grateful, but I guess I'm a little guilty."

She also feels uncomfortable being in the spotlight when she's not on stage. Carrie doesn't like being in crowds, which, of course, she draws when out and about. She said, "I'm horrible in crowds. I just get so nervous. This happened to me when I was in high school, before all of this. I would start having panic attacks in Wal-mart. I do not like shopping in close quarters and stuff like that; I just can't do that. This is my space, and I'm really weird about it."

She is, however, willing to share her space with fiance Mike Fisher. Carrie gushed, "He is the person that I see making me happy for the rest of our lives, and he is the person I would do anything for to make him happy. I very well may be the luckiest girl in the world."

Carrie Underwood knew that something was special about her soon-to-be-husband,Ottawa Senator Mike Fisher, pretty much from the get go. She told People magazine, "From the beginning it felt different. You could tell Mike had the best intentions all the time."

She says they have built their relationship on the "little things" they do for each other. Carrie is happy to clean out Mike's refrigerator and do his grocery shopping, while he makes dinner and helps her take care of her constant companion, her dog, Ace. He also has a good eye for purses, which he often buys for Carrie. She said, "He's always spot-on!"

Carrie says it's the simple things that mean the most. "It's not grand, romantic gestures. We're (just) really considerate of one another. Mike makes me feel so special. I don't care what the title is: bride-to-be, girlfriend, bride ... as long as I'm around him, I'm good."

And what does Mike have to say about Carrie? He told People, "The first thing that struck me was how shy she was, yet down-to-earth. I knew pretty early she was a special girl, and I was very lucky!" The happy couple plan to get married this summer in Carrie's hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma.

Carrie Underwood says she had a blast on the set of her first sitcom. She taped her guest appearance on CBS' How I Met Your Mother in Los Angeles. She blogged about her experience, joking, "I have officially decided that I'm giving up the music business. I'm going to become a professional sitcom actress!"

Carrie's experience ran the gamut, including being at the wrong end of a baby pig. She said, "I got to hang out with the whole cast, dress up like a flight attendant, play a cavewoman, and had a baby pig poop on me...jealous?"

She gave kudos to the show's cast and crew who she said, "made me feel right at home and were super nice and great with me and my lack of experience."

It looks like Carrie Underwood is making the leap to the big screen. She is reportedly set to appear in a movie about professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm when she was 13 years old after a shark attacked her while surfing. News of the movie and cast was leaked when actor Kevin Sorbo recently posted the information on Twitter. The film is called Soul Surfer.

In addition to Carrie and Kevin, Soul Surfer stars Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt and Anna Sophia Robb.

A spokesperson for Carrie told us she was "not able to confirm" the news, which in publicist's language usually means it's happening.

Carrie became the first country artist in history and the only American Idol winner to achieve 10 Number One singles from their two albums. When her hit "Cowboy Casanova" -- the debut single from Play On -- topped the country chart, she added another single to her list, which now totals 11.
