'Paint the Town Red', show your proud Canadian Spirit by wearing Red, Painting your Face and waving your Canadian Flag at Bayshore Shopping Centre for the 'I Love Red Rally' on February 13th to support Canadian Athletes.

Bayshore Shopping Centre is planning a day of fun events to show off our Canadian Spirit including:

• 10:30am -2:30pm -All Red Face Painting for a minimun $5 donation benefiting the Canadian Red Cross for Haiti.  Located in front of Bath & Bodyworks

•  11:15-11:45am - All Red Fashion Show presented by The Bay featuring Olympic Gear and Red attire with accessories for Women and Men with Jewelry by Birks and Swarovski. Located in front of The Bay

•  12:00- 2:00pm - Bayshore Fun Competitions located in front of The Bay where you could win great prizes from Bayshore Shopping Centre. 12:15-1:00pm Family competions with fun games including: Crab Walk and Olympic Trivia.  1:15-2:00pm Couples competions with activites including: Three legged Race, Dress Up Relay and Olympic Trivia.

The Rideau Canal  becomes the world’s largest skating rink every winter! This historic route is transformed into a 7.8-kilometre skating rink. 

Now until February 21, the Rideau Canal Skateway becomes the main activity site for Winterlude, Canada’s winter celebration!

The Ottawa Boat & Sportsmen's Show celebrates it's 35th Anniversary February 25th -28th at Lansdowne Park.

See over 200 exhibitors showcasing the largest selection of new boats, acres of gear, gadgetry and tackle for fishing, cruising and camping.

The show also features a Meet & Greet with Bob Izumi, Go Fish with 'Big Jim' McLaughlin, The World's Blind Fishing Boat, Stay Clear; Stay Safe with Water Safety Day, Ontario Outdoors with Lonnie King and Fishing funny-man Dave Mercer.
