Terri Clark will be at Russell Fair on Friday, September 10th.  Refreshment patio opens at 7:00 PM – Age of majority required.

Tickets are $55 per person and can be purchased in cash at Pronto -1119 Concession Street, Russell or ME Productions - 831 Notre-Dame, Embrun or by calling 613-445-8624 for credit card purchases ($2.50 fee per ticket)..

The 5th Annual Plane Pull Challenge is on Saturday, September 11th at the International Airport from 10am-4pm.

Teams of 25 participants will play tug-of-war with a FedEx A310, pulling the aircraft over 12 feet.  The team that pulls the fastest wins bragging rights for the year and gets to take home great prizes.  Register a team at www.ottawa-airport.ca Space is limited to 50 teams.

The registration fee for teams of 25 participants is $1,000.  (This fee includes free parking, lunch, and a gift for each team member.)

 All of the proceeds of the 5th annual Plane Pull Challenge will be equally divided between Project Clear Skies, the Airport Authority’s charitable giving program, and the Ottawa Senators Foundation to fund charitable initiative in our community.

Join Y101's 'Team Cindy' at the CIBC Run for the Cure and help us create a future without breast cancer.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, and education and awareness programs.

Each year, thousands of Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life unite to participate in the Run. Their reasons for participating vary, but they all have the same goal; to create a future without breast cancer.

On Sunday, October 3, 2010, Run, Walk and Give Generously.
